hey folks,
based on an old sketch I did quite some time ago I wanted to finish this for a long time and well, finally this came to an end

it shows some sort of an alternative adventure of Alice in Wonderland: in order to be allowed to stay in the world behind the rabbit hole she has to marry one (or maybe more, guess they aren`t that pedantic in Wonderland^^) of the inhabitants there

as it`s based on an old sketch of mine I`m not 100% happy with all of the characters but I wanted to get this out of my sight once and for all
done completely in Photoshop

hey everyone!
well it`s been quite some time since I posted something, so I thought I just upload the final piece I`ve done for the Face and Figurepainting workshop with Don Seegmiller I participated some time ago
the workshop was a huge inspiration, lots of talented people there and Don is really a nice guy and a great instructor

in the beginning I wanted to concentrate on the figure but it ended up as Persephone picture; not really my sort of theme but since I haven`t done this yet I hope you forgive me

I used a stock photo as reference for the girl

I thought my portfolio lacks some fantasy cuties so I decided to paint this archaic priestess
done from scratch in Photoshop with my favorite cutie-painting-technique: from naked to clothed^^

my next private piece will be inspired from the new CG Challenge "Uplift"; I`ve the honor to be in the jury this year so I can`t participate, it`s only for motivation cause I had such a great time last year

hey, been a bit lazy over the holidays so here`s my first pic for 2008 with a bit delay^^
I always wanted to do some sort of Chinese Dragon-thing with a bit of Kung-Fu; can`t really say on which side the dragon fights but I can say that these two masters will fight an awesome battle
completely done in PS CS3, don`t know exactly how long I worked on it cause I doodled around much on it during the Christmas and New Year time

well, the CG Challenge is over now and the first entries show up in the gallery...time to show mine also
the whole contest was an awesome experience; I met so many excellent artists and inspirational human beings that I can`t wait to participate next year again
big thx to everyone who encouraged me when I was down/ tired/ unmotivated, you guys saved my lazy butt^^
I don`t think that the story needs much explaination...if you still need one just write me a pm^^

all done in PS, mostly used the standard round brushes with some tiny help here and there from some custom brushes

It shows a Troll-like creature which trys to harvest some sort of holy flower...
Completely done in Photoshop, no textures or references used
